GOSFORD NETBALL ASSOCIATION SCORESHEET PROCEDURE

A table is set up downstairs each Saturday where each team will be able to pick up the scoresheet prior to the game commencing from the peephole marked with the Court the team is playing on. The team listed first on the draw (left hand side) is the team to collect the scoresheet. Please feel free to grab a folder to lean on. The team that wins the toss (has the first centre pass) will become the “official scorer”.

Please ensure you abide by our policy documentation which states the following:
“6.4 The official scorer must have the score sheet in clear view of the scorer of the opposing team and both shall sit near the middle of a sideline”.
“6.5 Failure to comply with rule 6.4 above, will result in the opposing team becoming the official scorer”.

At the conclusion of the game the score sheet becomes the responsibility of the winning team and
MUST BE PROMPTLY RETURNED TO THE RED SCORESHEET BOX UPSTAIRS.

If any team would like a copy of their scoresheet, they can be photocopied upstairs at any time during the day.

Names on these scoresheets have automatically generated from the database. Please ensure you check these names carefully and advise of any changes, ie a player who has been de-registered from the team appears on the scoresheet or player missing.
